Kapalua Vacation Guide
Kapalua is probably most famous for hosting the Mercedes Benz Championship on one of its three golf courses (The Plantation). It offers much more than golf though. It is home to the Ritz Carlton as well as the Kapalua villas and many homes and condos. These are all upscale, luxury places to stay. It has beautiful, white sand beaches many of which are very quiet and unspoiled. The beaches offer a great place to snorkel and explore the underwater world.
Among other events it hosts the Kapalua Wine & Food Festival. You can also see fields of pineapples. If the ocean tires you, you can simply do a 180 degree turn and see the beautiful mountains of Maui. Kapalua is the ultimate luxury town with breathtaking views anyway you look.

Maui is small, yet diverse. Here you'll find dry areas similar to the Southwest USA, but you'll also find jungles like the ones in Central America. Throw in some alpine forests, blowholes, a couple of volcanoes, and loads of world-class beaches, and you'll have barely scratched the surface of all the wonders Maui has to offer.
