Some people don't want to eat at Street food restaurant when they come to Bangkok because they don't know if it's safe or not? :) Even I'm Thai but I don't eat every street food restaurant also. But this place, Kaotom 55, is safe I'm sure.
Kaotom is in Thai. In english is rice soup. 55 is from Sukhumwit soi 55. This restaurant is located in front of the soi on Sukhumwit Road. This is another favorite restaurant of mine. If my home was around there, I'd go to eat there every day. It's kinda chinese restaurant but there are a lot of Thai dishes. And it's cheap! The taste isn't good for only Thai people but I brought many foreigners friend to eat there and they like it! :) Ok, maybe the place isn't so nice as it's on street but you should try! |
