Kang Guan Restaurant Carey Island Reviews
Affordable Seafood on Carey Island Sep 18, 2015
Fresh selection of seafood at reasonable price. Maybe because it is located a little far and secluded from Kuala Lumpur. Took 1 hour 30 minutes to get here from Kuala Lumpur. Carey Island is the initial settlement of the Mah Meri aborigines tribe. It is a less well-known swampy island for sight-seeing and seafood compared to bigger island such as Pulau Ketam. Interesting place for a day trip. We had chilli crab, asam fish, butter prawn, razor clam and Chinese kale. Pricing ranges from RM15 to RM50 per dish. This restaurant is pork free.
