I cant say ive done everything but i can say ive done the limbo at 2a.m.  next to an old soivet out post postion in the middle of the Afghan plains :)

They sent me to Afghanistan for christmas. The bastards!!

I had the opportunity to see a country that is still hostile while deploying there as an Expeditionary Unit in the Marine infantry. It was the dead of winter, and was absolutely freezing in a campaign we were conducting in the mountains. The combination of snow, wind, and sun in the mountains can make you go snow blind without eye protection. Make sure you wear lots of warm clothing, bring all your own supplies, and have at least an armed platoon of marines with you for protection. LOL!

My work often takes me to the beautiful nation of Qatar, and many surrounding nations. Although I've made this journey many times, I'll combine my blog into one specific time period.
