Japan 2007!!!: Kamakura Travel Photos
posted by:
May 21, 2007 – May 27, 2007
I took a gap year due to my being queen procrastinator about my uni choices. And then I remember thinking, Oooh, I fancy going to Japan!...after many months of earning money and worrying my parents with the vague assurance that I knew exactly what I would do there, I finally arrived. I am now in the final weeks of my stay, completely refreshed and 'ready' to go to university!

On the only time I could go to Hakone the weather was terrible. Gone were my hopes of enjoying some of the best views of Fujisan. Hell, I have a dastard luck when it comes to watch Fujisan. I still enjoyed my day in Hakone: bought the Odakyuu Hakone Free Pass and rode the Romance Car, mountain…

Tokyo, Yokosuka and Okinawa Japan: Yokosuka Travel Photos
posted by:
Mar 14, 2008 – Apr 03, 2008
In March 08 I had to go to Yokosuka on business, but the trip also afforded opportunities to visit Tokyo and join Jenny for leave in Jenny's birthplace--Okinawa. My objective in Tokyo was to ride the biggest Ferris Wheel in the city (Japanese: 展覧車 (tenransha) or 大観覧車 (daikanransha) or (kanransh) at Kasai Rinkai Park. Our time in Okinawa was magical, with good weather, beautiful scenery/sunsets/beaches, and reunions with many friends from our time stationed there 2003-05.
