Kampung Daun Culture Gallery & Cafe Lembang Reviews
Natural Forest Restaurant Jun 21, 2010
Don't miss the opportunity to try some traditional Sundanese food and drink while you are visiting Lembang,Bandung.
I went there by 2nd of May,took 2 hours drive from Jakarta.Arrived Bandung,we directly go to Lembang through the fastest way from Setiabudi street. This street has more traffic but is more easily accessible than the others, for example Dago.
Nice Panoramic & Natural forest with the Waterfall is an interesting nature trail I found when I visited Kampung Daun.20 minutes trek takes you through some of the most spectacular scenery.Which consist of tropical Forest.
There are plenty of resting stops throughout,Called "Saung" the place for dine. None better than the very scenic small waterfalls beside the bridge with the very cool water.
Kampung Daun Restaurant is open throughout the day and has stunning panoramic views of the Natural Forest and the surrounding breathtaking scenery
Unfortunately we arrived there too early & the Restaurant still close for order. We just enjoy the weather & took some pictures there without trying the Food.

A very nice place to eat Jul 09, 2010
Kampung Daun is one of my favorite place to eat in Bandung, West java. With the exotic designs and natural, cold weather, really a very comfortable atmosphere.
The food was varied and very tasty with a price that is not too expensive, too.
Seemed to eat in the woods but with a feeling far more secure and convenient of course. Each group got a separate place so it is very convenient for casual chatting and eating.
Will definitely come here again if i go to bandung ...
Spectacular ambience! May 11, 2009
If you visit Bandung, it is a mandatory for you to have a lunch or a dinner in this place. Otherwise, what a great loss!
As I wrote in the title, the ambience is uncomparable! It is located in a small hill with a small river across the place. It also has a small waterfall and you can hear the sound of water falling down from all over the place.
It consists of several huts, they are spreaded along the way to the top of the hill. You can choose and one of the staff will guide you to reach the hut you chose. It also depends on how many of you. If you are only two persons, of course they will give you a small hut that fits only for two. and so on.
The hut is fulfilled with soft matrass and several cushions. So, the place is also perfect for hanging out instead of having a serious dinner or lunch.
This restaurant is really famous. Many visitors come from neighbouring countries, i.e Singapore, India, Hongkong, Taiwan, Korea etc. Malaysia is the most foreign visitors who know the place.
Not only the ambience it can offer but also the quality of the food. Although you have to be patient while waiting for your food (usually takes not less than half hour to get your food ready), it is really worth it to wait for it. Almost all the food they are offered in the menu is incredibly delicious. Another plus point is they put the food in such a pretty packaging/appearance so you will be surprised with how it looks when it is served in front of you. I mean surprised in a positive way.
Last but not least, the cool natural temperature around the place is also very soothing.
Since the restaurant is very popular, if you want to come, you have to do it very early. For example, if you want to have a dinner, then come at 5 pm. If you come for lunch, then come at 11 am. By doing that, you can avoid a long queque which can upset you very much especially if your stomach in the state of hungry level. For weekends, you should reserve first and do't arrive late to avoid your table is given away to somebody else.
Well, enjoy the place and I hope you won't regret!
