Kammerhof Museum Reviews

The building (Salzkammerhof) which is hosting the museum is firstly named in a offical document dated back to 1395. This document makes the Salzkammerhof one of the oldest buildings in our town. In past centuries it was used for administration oft the salt which was mined in the Salzkammergut.
The exhibitions show how people mined salt in the past centuries, show traditional clothing and instruments and give some good impressions on passed time. It’s also a good thing to do if you have bad weather and you don’t know what to do. If you come to Bad Aussee, have a look. You will need approximately 2 hours the see the museum.
