One of the most beautiful buildings in Zagreb Mar 22, 2014
The Kallina house located at the corner of Gundulićeva and Masarykova street is a wonderful secessionist-style(Art Nouveau) building designed by architect Vjekoslav Bastl inspired by Otto Wanger's Wienzeilenhäusere in Vienna. The house was built in 1904 for the entrepreneur Josip Kallina who owned a ceramic factory that provided the tiles for the decoration of the house.

If you take a good look you might actually see bats flaying around it.

The inside of the house can't be visited, but nevertheless it is a must see.
