Kakamigahara Aerospace and Science Museum Reviews
The history of aviation in Japan Aug 27, 2016
When I visited this science museum, I felt Kakamigahara is really a city of airplane. Gifu Airbase opened in 1917 and is now the nation's oldest existing airbase. KHI has been manufacturing aircraft there for 94 years. This museum located in the south of JASDF Gifu base opened 20 years ago. The exhibit are varied. Experiment machines, helicopters, domestic airplanes and the technology of space development are exhibited crowdedly. Kids brightened eyes and became crazy about the airplanes/simulators. This museum will be closed at one time at the end of next month. They will renew and opened again during next year.
