Kairouan Vacation Guide
Kairouan is a mixture of new buildings and very old houses. Kairouan has one big mosque this is a very important one for whole Tunisia. They call Kairouan the holy city. This town is also very famous for it carpets. And of course you should visit the medina. This one is very big. It is almost impossible to walk arround the medina. Somewhere i really don't know anymore is a restaurant in the opposite of the medina. Busses wil stop there also, you enter a very special restaurant. I have never seen such a beautiful style inside of the restaurant. They serve a tunisian diner. Very cheap! Kairouan is special, take your time for it!

Kairouan city of the big mosque and the carpets. (in another tunisia blog i have written more about Kairouan) Oh wat i have heard is that there are a lot of scorpions in Kairouan. But or i am blind or i have just been lucky not meeting one.
