Kahala Mall

Kahala Mall is a shopping mall located in east Honolulu. If you look at a road map of Honolulu, it is located at the spot where the H1 freeway becomes route 72 (Kalanianaole Highway). The Waialae Country Club, site of the Sony Open Golf Tournament, is a couple of blocks away.

The anchor store at Kalaha Mall is Macy's, however this is a small version of the Macy's department store. The one at Ala Moana shopping center is much larger. There is also an Apple Store at Kahala Mall. There are two notable tenants at Kahala Mall: Kahala Theaters and Whole Foods. Kahala Theaters is a movie theater with 8 different screens. Whole Foods, for those of you unfamiliar with it, is a grocery store that sells natural and organic foods. It's typically more of the upscale type of groceries. And what good old American mall would be complete without a Starbucks Coffee!!

Kahala Mall is easy to find whether you're driving or taking the bus. If you're staying at a Waikiki hotel, the Blue Line Waikiki Trolley will take you there. It's a good place to pick up picnic supplies before heading out to the beach.
