Ratslaukums, Riga, Latvia
Kafejnica Varzoba Riga Reviews
A gem of a place Aug 04, 2011
If you ever fancy Uzbekistani food, head to Varzoba. This restaurant is located in a side street of Ratslaukums in the center of Riga. It's small. In fact, there are only 5 tables and slightly more chairs.
The owner is a friendly elderly man, who shuffles along in his slippers, and is pleasantly surprised when someone actually finds his place.
The interior is decorated with traditional dress and pictures of Uzbekistan. It's quite comfy.
Food is brilliant. There's Latvian beer on tap and there's quite a lot of choices of mineral water. We went for a Georgian one, which was quite salty.
Definately a place to discover and it won't set you back much.
