Kafe Vietnam Kuala Lumpur Reviews
Kafe Vietnam Mar 08, 2015
Vietnamese Restaurants/Cafes are slowly mushrooming in Malaysia. Its light dishes quite suit the Chinese taste buds, but because Vietnamese' main specialty is beef noodles and some Chinese don't take beef due to religious believes, I personally feel Vietnamese Cuisine have not really earned its place here yet. Anyhow, no harm trying it once in a blue moon.
What I like most about Vietnamese Cuisine is none other than their fresh spring rolls. There are 2 types - one wrapped with dry rice paper, another one is steamed. I personally prefer the steamed one, but the dry rice paper is just as nice.
Problem is, it's really difficult to find the exact taste that you get in Vietnam. I've tried several times in KL, but none of them has the Vietnamese standard, although they claim to be authentic.
If you have nothing to compare to, then yeah, maybe you'll find it nice. But if you've tried them in Vietnam, you'd probably want to skip this.
Nevertheless, the beef salad is nice though.
