Amazing Cirque Show...Lots of Fire Apr 11, 2010
KÀ is the first and only Cirque du Soleil show I have seen. The show is located in the MGM Grand hotel in Las Vegas, NV.
This show fills up so fast and there are long lines you have to wait in before you even get inside the theater. It is well organized once you get inside the theater. I was able to play some slot machines while waiting in line which helped pass time.
The special effects are outstanding. The Cirque performers are absolutely amazing and put on a great show. There is a lot going on everywhere throughout the whole show so make sure you pay attention to all of your surroundings.
I don't want to give away any details of the show as to spoil the surprises. I would recommend this Cirque du Soleil to anyone. I am not sure how it rates to other Cirque shows in Vegas but it is definitely enjoyable.

Worth the money-lots of oohs and ahhhs will be made Sep 12, 2010
Since you will be buying your tickets weeks before you get to Vegas, you won't have to worry about any lines or mayhem. If you're gonna buy tickets, you might as well get good ones. Make sure you're not too far on the side or too far in the back or too high up. Again-if you're gonna spend the money to see the show, you might as well do it right. It will be so worth. You probably won't find too many people who regretted their decision to go unless they don't like acrobatics and fire and stuff.
It really is an amazing show and you can't believe some of the things they do! It's hard to describe the show without giving it away. If you look at other reviews (including those from other websites and sources), I'm pretty sure you won't find a lot of negative reviews, if any at all. The show combines acrobatics with an awesome and dynamic stage. When you see how these folks climb and fling, you will be amazed.
Bring a sweater (I was freezing and almost left the theater because I couldn't stand how cold it was! But maybe it was just me) You can't take picture or videotape. If you take young children, explain to them before and after the show that they are not permitted to try any of the things they see in the show (but am not sure why you'd pay that much money to take kids). Arrive on time. They are not likely to sit you if you arrive later until a certain portion of the show; why should someone's view be blocked while you wiggle your way to your seat! and now that you've arrived late, you have lost some of the value on your ticket.
I don't know how people get reduced tickets for shows like this. I don't know if people buy their tickets from other websites or from vendors or if the MGM even sells same-day tickets at reduced prices; I have no info for you in that arena....so good luck and enjoy the show-you will!
