Jurmala Vacation Guide
Jurmala is a small seaside town a short trip away from Riga. You can take the train and be there in about an hour. The town is filled with old summer houses. The town was a vacation spot for many from the USSR. Today, the town is still a popular vacation spot for Russians. Many of the buildings have been restored or renovated but still worth a look. There is also a pedestrian street filled with shops, restaurants, and spas. Jurmala is definitely a nice get away from the busy city.
