If like us, you want to see Tasmania, but are unable to drive then Jump In Tours is the answer. We spent about a week before flying, trying to find out ways of traveling around Tasmania by bus and failed. The east coast is relatively easy to travel around with regular local and intercity bus routes, but the rugged and beautiful west coast is inaccessible, and we had all but given up any hope of getting there.

Jump In Tours was a small, intimate bus driven by Greg, a laid-back friendly Tasmanian guy. The tour was 5 days, picking up from Hobart, and took in Cradle Mountain, Bay of Fires, Wineglass Bay, Launceston, Bicheno, Montezuma Falls, Lake St Clair, Queenstown, Henty Dunes, Mole Creek, Cataract Gorge, Richmond and much more. And all for $399, accomodation included! All we needed was ourselves, a smile and some food (and goon, but that's another story)! We did lots of walking tours to beautiful sights that we'd never have known to go to otherwise, we did cheese-tasting, bought Tasmanian salmon, tried 60 types of honey, and heaps of other stuff! It was great value and great fun, I highly recommend it.
