Jewish Museum Apr 12, 2012
The museum located in the heart of the former Jewish quarter. Take tram no 9 or 14 stop at Waterlooplein or metro 51, 53, 54 stop at Waterlooplein and it's a sort walk from there.

The museum exhibit Jewish tradition and colorful culture. Beautiful ornaments and many stories from the past.

The galleries of the Great Synagogue feature a new presentation on the history of the Jews of the Netherlands from 1600 to 1900, shown in a chronological display.

The central theme is what it has meant to be a Jew in the Netherlands over the centuries.

The exhibition has been divided into three periods: before, during, and after the war. Visitors can use touchscreens to obtain information about each item.

Entrance fee is 12 euro.

Interesting museum Sep 10, 2010
I like the museum a lot. It tells much about the religion and habits. They do tell you some words you don't know if you are unfamiliar with the religion, that's unfortunate.

Most of the time you know what they mean, because you can ask people from the museum. Some people are juwish, so they can answer your question.

They also had an childmuseum where kids can learn about the religion. What they eat, what some hebrew letters mean and what the wailing wall is.

I think the shop was fun to, because they had books, postcards, toys and music about the religion and made by jewish people.
