Cheap, busy, tasty! Oct 24, 2009
A narrow entrance on Melaka's famous Jonker Street almost conceals a lovely little cafe restaurant. On the right as you walk in a chef assembles laksa noodle dishes with both a smile and speed, whilst on the left you can pick up Cendol and drinks.

The decor inside is traditional darkwood chic, with a museum's worth of stuff and history lining the walls.

We plumped for the 3.50 ringgit Baba Laksa - noodles, fried tofu, prawns and curry laksa sauce. Fantastically cheap and sooo nice. A great place for a quick lunch with loads and loads of atmosphere.
Baba Laksa - a bad pic of a great …
Our happy chef
