I really enjoyed this place. It is the first place in the Lonely planet guide for a reason !
I had a very nice single room for 70 Baht a night ! this is probably the best deal I had during all my time in Thailand!
There is some nice hammocks and benches on the lawn area looking over the river. A really nice place to hang out during the day if you´ve done all the sightseeing!
The resturant connected to the hostel has good and cheap food.
Also this is probably the best place to go to meet other backpackers in the area !

Kanchan and the Jolly Frog guesthouse swallowed us in their placidity. It was a place you didn't really bother with makeup and passage of time was irrelevant. You slept away the heat of the morning, and unintentionally stayed up til the wee hours of the night. We inspected… Kan of Chang Beery, please
