Jollibee Sacramento Reviews
crispy fried chicken Jul 03, 2013
Jolibbee is a Filipino fast food chain/ restaurant which originated in the Philippines.
Their famous crispy fried chicken is so well-like by Filipino taste buds that those who live overseas craved for their fried chicken so much. The business franchisers saw a promising market to bring Jolibbee into different countries that have a high population of Filipinos. U.S. is among those countries and California ranked as one of the high population of Filipino community. Sadly, only the big cities in California have outlets for Jolibbee.
Our first stop on our road trip to the North was Sacramento –the capital city of California. Of course, our first lunch was friend chicken at Jolibbee!
For a bucket of crispy fried chicken (7 mixed pieces of thighs, breasts and legs), 4 cups of steamed rice, pancit palabok, spaghetti, a boba drink and 1 soda drink costs us only $23.00! Soda is free refill as well.
Jolibbee in Sacramento is located inside Sea Food City (a huge Filipino grocery store). The outlet is next to a Filipino bakeshop -- Red Ribbon. Opposite of Jolibbee is “Chowking” another Filipino fast-food chain.
The staffs are very friendly and courteous (says “opo” or “po”). One of them still speaks the language even though she was already born and raised here in the U.S.
If there is a Jolibbee in your area, please try their fried chicken. You won’t regret it! It’s crispy, tender and juicy! The gravy is also yummy!
