Jojo's Shaved Ice and Treats

Jojo's shaved ice is la hole in the wall shack located in Waimea, Kauai in Hawaii right off the highway. The place looks a little sketchy and the sign looks like the graffiti of a 10 year old, but the shaved ice is absoluetly delicious and is perfect on a hot day, which is almost every day in Kauai. If you don't know what shaved ice is, its basically a snowcone but a million times better because the ice is smoother and you dont have to chew because it just melts in your mouth. First, you get to choose the type of ice cream they put at the bottom, either Lappert's macadamia nut or vanilla, and then they pack a mound of freshly shaved ice on top. You can pick 3 flavors from 60 different flavors ranging from passionfruit, bubble gum, chocolate, coffee, and blueberry. If you simply can't decide, they have some mouthwatering combinations already pre-chosen. There's two sizes and they're both pretty big but considering how good it is, I'm sure you could finish their smallest one. Jojo's shaved ice is definitely something you shouldn't miss when you're in Kauai.
