I love flying in and out of John Wayne airport. If you ever come to Southern Cali, it's a must that you fly into and out of John Wayne Airport. Whenever I fly out of here, I don't need to get there until 30 minutes before my scheduled departure time. You check in no problem, check in your bags, and go through security quick. Even if there is a long line... it's never really long. Heading to Seattle I was checked in, and at my gate in 15 minutes! It's always like that!! So worth flying into as well. Especially if you're heading to Orange County! It will save you time. Less time driving and waiting at the airport means more time for your vacation!
I hate LAX!! The long lines, driving 2 hours in traffic, and it's just ugly and busy. I'm spoiled... what can I say?? But really, it's worth the extra $50 to fly here... heck you spend that on gas anyways driving your butt to LAX in traffic... why not enjoy more of your holiday!
