Hidden habor point walk! It's beautiful Dec 26, 2012
The Museum is great, but so as the the path behind the museum, full of wild flowers in the spring and summer, they are beautiful, this path is right next to the picnic area of the museum and it is along the harbor. Many locals jog along the path. If you walk long enough you will reach the south bay beach...great place to snack or to have a picnic as well. Pick up some lunch from Shaws market from the station or from Umass Boston cafe, cheaper. I found that patch of wild flower while i was doing a wild plant project. It's beautiful!

Sorry, the last time I have ever been inside the museum was back in middle school, so I can't really remember. But I can say that the museum is very informative, including video of Kennedy's speech, and histories around that time. And if you going during school year, where lots field trips may take place you may want to try after 3PM.Depends on what you prefer.

Great Experience Aug 15, 2010
I'll start by mentioning that I have an unusual fascination with the Kennedys, but being as objective as possible, it was really, really good. There's an intro film that JFK narrates, and that's followed by 22 different exhibit rooms. You'll learn about his politics and how he influenced our country and the world. If you read everything and watch all the films in their entirety, you'll be there all day. I spent about 3 hours there, and I could have stayed longer. Be sure to give yourself plenty of travel time because it's pretty far from the city center. $12 for adults.

Get inspired in Boston Jul 18, 2008
This is the first presidential that I have visited and thus have no measure for how good it is in comparison to other presidential libraries. But what I can say is that you learn a lot about President Kennedy's life spanning form when he served in the Navy to his presidency. You get to see how President Kennedy started off in politics; how Jacqueline Kennedy transformed life at the White House; how the President dealt with the Cuban Missile crisis amongst other things. One thing I took away form the experience is that you see a great contrast on how America was viewed then and it is viewed now.
