This was a last minute decision because despite that we've been in Taiwan half a dozen times, I've never heard of this place before a friend mentioned it. I don't think it's very well known, not yet anyway. So this is kind of my "secret" tip that I'm sharing. ^_^ ;)
If you're in Taiwan and you cook, or you want to cook, or you just like food, don't miss it. The price is high for Taiwan, but Jodie is an amazing teacher and communicator. The class time is full of activity and learning, but it never felt like we were in a rush, it was just fun. Taiwanese cooking is related to Chinese, but its also got Japanese cuisine influences. Anyhow its delicious and taking the knowledge of how to cook it back home with me beats souvenirs anyday  Part of the Jane's World Travels travel blog
