As a local resident, i certainly been to Jinli old street many times, its quite famous among vistors.

Jinli was constructed 3-4 years ago and benefit from Wuhou Memorial Temple, now was crowded with all kinds of visitors, domestic and overseas, frankly speaking, it's rather comercial and successful, both sides of the narrow street are occupied by all kinds of Wine/coffee bars, even you can find Starbucks shop. Wuhou temple priced 60RMB, if you don't know China History, especiall Three kingdoms period, its' no sense to visit Wuhou temple, because it's memorial temple for Zhuge Liang(the prime minister of kingdom Shu).

Comparatively, Wenshu Fang Street is less famous than Jinli, it's nearby Wenshu Monastery, is of the smiliar design and handicrafts shops, much more, and all kinds of snacks available, I think lot of backpackers who stay at Sim's Cozy hostel should know there.

Why not go to Wenshu street, BTW if you visit the adjacent Wenshu Monastry only cost you 10RMB.
