Jimmyz Backpackers Sapporo Reviews
Awesome hostel in Sapporo! Jul 30, 2011
One of the best hostels I've stayed at in my numerous visits to Japan! Jimmyz Backpacker is a great, clean, and homey hostel in Sapporo.
Located 4 blocks from the train station, it is conveniently located from several Sapporo sights. I often end up doing the 20-minute walk to Sapporo Station instead.
The hostel is a renovated Japanese house. The 2nd floor houses the 2 dorm rooms - a 4-bed female dorm and a 6-bed mixed dorm. The first floor is where the shared kitchen, common area, 2 showers and baths are located. Basic shower amenities is available. Free wi-fi is available.
Jimmy, the owner, is very friendly and accommodating. He is great resource for local sights and events in the city.
Because the hostel only accommodates 10 people at a time, it was easy to meet fellow backpackers and travelers alike. During my 3 night stay in Sapporo, we often hang out in the common area to chat and enjoy Sapporo's beer before turning in.
Definitely going back when I visit Sapporo again. Thanks, Jimmy!
