Jet Park Hotel & Conference Centre

The Jet Park Hotel and Conference Centre is located on Westney Road, which runs parallel to George Bolt Memorial Drive. It is located close to Auckland International Airport and is the perfect stop if you have just gotten off a plane or need to be close to the airport to catch an early flight.

I stayed here because the cost was good, I had just dropped off a rental car at the airport, and I had to fly out very early the next day. I also liked the fact that the hotel runs a free shuttle back and forth to the airport. This made it very convenient.

I had just driven for six hours straight, by the time I got to this hotel, so all I wanted to do was have dinner and go to sleep. That is exactly what I did and I awoke at three am feeling refreshed and ready to tackle all the flights I would be on in the following days.

The furnishings are a little outdated, but I think the hotel is slowing renovating its rooms. A face-lift is all this hotel really needs.
