I stopped by the Alexander Café one night while staying in the Mount Zion and found it to be a great spot for a quick drink and comfortable company. Pleasantly lit, and with wonderful service, I came away very happy with my evening. I came in for a coke in May, 2002.

While staying in the Jaffa Hostel, I made a point of stopping by Henry's Café every morning for some apple juice and a Danish. Small, but well-stocked, I found the employees to be helpful and gracious--and the Danishes were good, too! I last had breakfast at Henry's Café in March, 2005.
