Middle Eastern best option in KC Jun 19, 2008
This local, part of a Middle Eastern chain of restaurants, serves kabobs, falafel, Turkish coffee, and other traditional dishes. They specialize in authentic Middle-Eastern cuisine and offer a great opportunity to have fresh vegetables and healthy, home-cooked items - a vegetarian's paradise. But it’s not a favorite for vegetarians only, meat eaters like it alike.
They serve the traditional hummus and baba ghanouj, as well as a large selection of entrees and sandwiches that are meat-free. But there are gyros platter or other meat kabobs, if you are looking for some meat. Personally, I tried the falafel and it was delicious!!! It doesn’t matter what dish you choose, all of them seem to be fresh and home made. The food is really tasty, but be sure to save some space for the delicious baklava.
Regarding the environment, this is pretty laid down and comfy. The service is nice and you can enjoy a nice conversation there. Besides it’s located in a great area, just walking distance from the middle of the action, haha!
