Jerudong is located in the suburb about 15 to 20 minutes drive from the airport. Perhaps this area could be considered the Beverly Hill of Brunei as this is where most of the posh people live with big mansions and palaces seen all over the area. Perhaps this is due to the its picturesque location which is facing towards the South China Sea.
Some of the famous country's landmark nestle within this place such as the Empire Hotel and Country Club, the Nurul Izzah Palace (home of the former second queen of Brunei), the Jerudong Park Playground (once dubbed as the Disneyland of Brunei), the biggest crystal monument in the world, Jerudong beach, Shahbandar Hill Recreational Park, Jerudong International School (posh boarding school in Brunei) and many more.
