Named after its owner, former Red Sox player and now famous announcer, Jerry Remy (aka Rem Dawg), I can't think of a better place to grab a brew and burger pre- or post- game than here. Located literally in the shadow of Fenway Park, this is also actually a great place to simply watch the game on one of the restaurant's huge flat-screen TVs. The bar has a plethora of local and national beers on tap including Rem Dawg's own ale (they make a mean Bloody Mary for those of you either drinking during the day or nursing a hangover or both). For lunch, they are particularly known for their burgers which feature fried dough (dough-boys) as the bun. They are so big, only the biggest of mouths are getting around it classic style. More than likely you will find that, like me and every other biologically normal jaw-boned human being at my table, that you will have to manipulate this damn messy burger with a knife and fork.
