Long drive away from Fortaleza (nearly 4 hours) and then you might need a 4x4 car to actually get to the village. But it's worth the trouble.
Jericoacoara (or just Jeri) is a protected area with great lagoons and a lively night life. No banks, public eletricity, garbage... just how life should be :)
