I visited Saudi Arabia as part of the U.S. Department of State and The Kennedy Center's Jazz Ambassadors Program in 2003. This cultural exchange program sends a small number of quartets out to areas where the United States doesn't have a strong presence. Saudi Arabia is one on the nine countries we visited in seven weeks. The other countries where Egypt,Moracco,Jordan,Syria, United Arab Emirates, India and Turkey.
