We went to Jeannie’s for breakfast. This is the best breakfast in Bar Harbor. We ordered the Oatmeal Bread French Toast and Pancakes. The pancakes were good but, the French Toast was awesome. I have always been told that the secret to a good restaurant is to have one or two signature items and make sure you excel at them. Here you have the oatmeal bread and their strawberry rhubarb jam. They make for a great combination or as a part of any other meal.
We got there around 8am and it was crowded but everyone that came in got seated right away. Thing were moving along very smooth. We got our order in and food out in good time. All the staff was very friendly and seemed to help each other out with seating and clean-up etc. We will be sure to return here on our next visit.
