Jazz Hostel & apartments Bled Reviews
One of the best hostels I've stayed in Oct 25, 2012
Located atop a hill just outside of the centre of Bled, Jazz Hostel is a simply outstanding hostel.
The owner, Jani, is possibly the friendliest guy in the world. Upon arrival he offers you a drink at the nearby bar (which is also his), gets to know you, and gets down to the serious business of introducing you to Bled and the surrounding areas. It's fair to say that without his recommendations we never would have climbed Velika Osojnica or taken the cable car up to the ski resort above Lake Bohinj, which were two definite highlights!
The rooms are spacious and clean, and there are two very nice bathrooms between five rooms. The communal kitchen is a great place to hang out, and the free Internet access on the ground floor pretty much makes this everything you could want from a Hostel. Highly recommended.

Nice apartments with amazing management. Oct 13, 2011
The location is a little off, in the outskirts of the town. About a 15 minute walk to the city center.
The facilities is clean and proper. Jani the host is very friendly! He laughs the whole time and takes care of the guests and gives tips about everything, helps out with booking trains and buses and will arrange transport to and from the trainstation if needed.
Also recommends places to eat. Very nice.
We got a apartment with a kitchen/living room with TV, bathroom, two bedrooms and four beds. I was fortunate enough to get the big bedroom with the good beds, two of the other guys ended in a very small bedroom without much space, but they managed, even though their envy was easy to see.
They have free Wifi, but it didn't work half of the time.
There is also a bar just outside. They're not the best bar in the world, but is close and you can even meet som locals here.
The problem was once again the lack of keys. With four people sharing the apartment we only received 2 sets of keys. This means we're dependent on finding one of the others with a key if you want to get into the room.
