Jasper Tramway Reviews
An Unforgettable experience Jul 10, 2009
Riding on Canada's highest and longest aerial tramway will captivate all ages as you are transported into the alpine tundra. Absorb the vistas of six mountain ranges, glacial fed lakes, meandering rivers and the Jasper town site. View Mount Ronson, the highest mountain in the Canadian Rockies at 3954 metres (over 12970 ft) above sea level.
It takes 7 mins ride going up. At the upper station, you will enjoy a stroll on the scenic boardwalks or the summit hiking trail with opportunities to view various species of wildlife and wild flowers.
1. wear jacket - to keep you warm on top of the snow capped mountains.
2. wear rubber shoes - to give your feet a good grip in hazardous terrain.
3. bring camera - to capture the spectacular scene
Most of all, always be alert on such natural hazards as weather changes, Avalanche danger, steep slopes, rocks, stumps, snow driffs, cliffs, etc. while hiking.

The tram gives a great view of Jasper and its surrounding land and lakes that appear turquoise from above. In the off-season, the trams won't be so packed, and when we went in May, we were the only two in the tram.
It's supposed to be one of the things to do in Jasper, but if you're short on money, it's just as great to see the sights up close without shelling out the cash!
