Tasty, filling lunch spot close to the MIA Sep 15, 2009

Delicious Vietnamese food for not much money. Mostly soups and noodle dishes, but also has hot sandwiches. Small place, clean but simple, little investment in ambiance. This is in stark contrast to many other places in this segment of "Eat Street" that are heavy on atmosphere, over-priced, and serve less appealing fare.

Important to remember: only takes cash or check, no credit! There's a Wells Fargo ATM on the corner of Nicollet and Franklin, and a TCF ATM inside Hark's on the corner of 24th and Nicollet.

Coffee is such a popular suggestion for meeting up and hanging out, and I have two more such dates tonight! I'm grateful for the two hour cushion until then -- I'm stuffed from a quick meal at Jasmine Deli (small hole-in-the-wall with tasty, filling Vietnamese food).
