Nice bit of green! Nov 11, 2011
After visiting the cathedral and palace in Madrid, you might be in need of a little break. These gardens are the perfect spot for this, as they are just a little further down from the palace. The grounds are nicely kept; lots of lush green lawns, box hedging and water features. There are plenty of benches to sit on too, so this is an ideal place to gather your thoughts and plan the next part of your sightseeing. For a central location, the gardens were rather calm and quiet. They are not huge, but for the location, I think it’s a nice green space in the capital.
