Jardines de Puerta Oscura Malaga Reviews
Relaxing, nature Nov 09, 2010
The gardens are nicely located near the Castle of Gibralfaro and the waterfront. The gardens hhave a wonderful European and Islamic feel to them. For example, the roses are very much reminscent of English gardens, whereas the trees give the gardens a very Islamic feel as similar ones are in the Alhambra.
The gardens are not very big, but pack an impressive amount of flora and fauna within them. There are a decent amount of benches to sit on, making it perfect for a mini rest or even a snack.
I really enjoyed visiting these gardens. Although the site is not as spectacular as the castle which is behind it, it is still worth a quick visit. The garden is also very easy to walk through for walkers of all abilities, so this shouldn't be an issue which affects your visit!
