I arrived in Jammu about 4.40am and took taxi to the bus station on the hunt for a shared jeep. Managed to sort one out - the price is 350 rupees for anyone making this trip, it hasn't changed lately :)
Took the Jeep at 6am after a chai, and that's about it for Jammu!
