I was born in this city then moved to US. Overall, I love the city cause i'm a city girl. It's crowded n' it's super hott. But there are lots of attractions. My fav. one is Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII), in here u can see all the provinces in Indonesia, like their traditional outfits, houses, dances, etc... It's like giving a review of traveling around Indonesia :]] I love it. When I went back to visit 2 years ago, many has changed though. But it's still a great city n' still crowded. Be careful- there are burglar almost everywhere u go.

ranging from hotel staff, taxi drivers, shopkeepers and the general people you stop on the street. Some Asians would consider Indonesians to be their poor cousins but in this respect I think Indonesians (or at least Jakartans) are far richer than many others. Here's a salute to you Jakartans! Thamrin streets - names were taken from Indonesia's famous late generals and politicians, we took some pics of statues, places, biggest mosque and church, etc. Just some fun days of navigating through clogged streets. Beside that, we went to Plasa Senayan, one of the fancy malls in town, having our lunch at Chatter Box (at Sogo… Jakarta - the sites and the gosh offel traffic
