Run for your life~! Oct 25, 2009
Jakarta RACE (Race Against Cancer Everyone) is an annual events sponsored by Four Seasons hotel for a charity run to support the cancer organization.
The pre-registration is done via online or come to the hotel directly, where we will get a t-shirt for the run. The D-day, the meeting point wa salready full with 6,000 people. And the run started sharply at 7, which amazed me:). The run took place in Jakarta main road - Sudirman - towards the south, which they have closed for this occasion. It felt great to be able to run freely in the middle of the street in Jakarta! Back to the meeting point - there was a bag of snack and several goodies stand - as well as free service to check blood pressure, cholesterol, etc. As well as an entertainment stage with some doorprizes given. Adult fee to join the run was 80k Rp (8 USD). http://www.jakartarace.org/ Part of the Jakarta 2009 till.....(Indonesia) travel blog |

We got up late on Saturday and decided to hit the nearest salon, the location of which we found out from her apartment cleaner through …race was what first got our attention but I did not find that exciting at all. We then did our own tour of the place.
Mascots welcomed us and the look on Liz' face as they saw her and apparently aimed to go to her even… A full weekend for a friend |
