Jade Screen Hotel

Huangshan (which means yellow mountain) is famous for its mountain range with odd shaped granite peaks and views on seas of clouds. The town Huangshan at the foot of the mountain has countless hotels, from where you can hike up to one of the peaks. There are also a couple of hotels that are located right in the middle of the scenic area, The Jade Screen Hotel is one of them.
This hotel is based at the top of the Yuping Mountain, just of the entrance of the Yuping Cable Car Station. The rooms are a bit small, especially the bathroom is a bit cramped and the restaurant isn’t that fabulous either (but there are no other restaurants too choose from, you’re stuck on top of a mountain…). The location would be the only reason why anyone would want to stay here, but this is a huge plus, since the surroundings of the hotel look like it came from a fairy tale!
