Jade Buddha Bar, Brisbane Travel Reviews

Sep 20, 2007
This is a trendy location bar set on the Brisbane River over-looking Story Bridge. The outer tables are set against railings that are open to the night air while the inner tables are actually inside the bar so there is no noticeable movement between interior and exterior space. The bar is very dark with funky lighting and is clearly intended to be a trendy cocktail bar. Cocktails themselves were averagely priced at 16 AUS dollars and a round of 3 drinks (2 draught beers and a glass of wine) was 22 AUS dollars. We didn't eat here but the menu looked delicious. We had a really nice time here sat on the high bar stools over-looking the railings into the night. I would choose a cheaper pub for everyday drinking but it's nice for special occasions.

The bar runs all along the main wall with two other bars for bottle sales only. The hard floor is fine - but the carpet is sticky as with all...
