Jacobs Bar BQ
Jacobs Bar BQ Arhus Reviews
Really nice on a summer evening Jul 15, 2010
In the middle of the old part of Århus I went into an open backyard where Jacob's BarBQ was situated. The area is really nice and the house was looking wonderful; the old back house is from 1754 and totally renovated in 2007.
It was wonderful weather and we decided to sit outside in their yard behind the main house. The menu was alright, there was a lot to choose from but we were both still feeling the heavy lunch we had in the harbour north of Århus.
We both decided to go for a real Danish traditional dish; a Pariser Bøf, which is a beef of minced meat with raw egg yolk, horseradish, beetroots, capers and so on; everything served on toast that has been fried on a pan. The beef was actually quite good except that the bread was too soaked in butter.
The service was swift and it was a nice place to sit and have a quick dinner before hitting town.
