If you would love to go to Daytona Beach and miss the crowds, go in late December. Oceanfront resort very affordable and no crowds. The people at Daytona were so friendly and also St Augustine which is a very old, but great city to visit. It has a lot of history. The Kennedy Space Center was also worth every minute

32 states in the US and 8 in Canada. Travelled Canada and the USA from coast to coast within five months. Travelled mostly by train, sometimes by coach. In total 33.000 km (20.000 miles). Started and ended in Toronto. Some other highlights: Montreal, Quebec, New York, Philadelpia, Chicago, Miami, New Orleans, El Paso, LA, San Fran, Yosemite, Death Valley, Vegas, Vancouver, Jasper. Experienced temperatures varying from minus 25 degrees Celsius to +30 degrees Celsius. Only shot 6000 pictures.

Well we left town today.  Something like an 18 hour drive, I think.  Katie and I shared the driving and it sure did make the whole thing seem to go faster.  It sure felt good to get out of the car and will be great to get a good night's sleep.
