Jack's Tapas Mainly Chinese Seattle Reviews
Best Chinese Food outside the International District Mar 09, 2009
Jack's Tapas has a large menu...there's the printed one, a small white board on the wall, and a huge white board on an easel near the front. Why? Because their menu constantly changes since they buy what's in season. They make their own condiments and homemade shaved noodles. Since the family is from northern China, there's lots of recipes featuring lamb. One sign that the food is good is all the Chinese families going there to eat dinner.
Some of my favorites:
* Three cup chicken
* Lamb stir fry
* Beef noodle soup with Chinese 5-spice
* Slow-cooked pork
If you have several in your group, try the scallion & sesame bread. It easily feeds 4-6 people.
