Jack's Ridge Restaurant Reviews
Open air restaurant with a wonderful view! Oct 05, 2009
An open air restaurant on top of a mountain in Davao City, Jack's Ridge Restaurant has a beautiful panaramic view of the city during the day and night.
Enjoy affordable Filipino dishes and the view with a cool breeze. It's very casual and relaxing with their friendly staff.
Food prices varies between PhP50-250 (US$1-$5) depending on type and portions. Drinks from PhP10-100 from alcoholic to soda and juices.
I highly recommend sisig and any of their fried whole fish, mango juice/shake and Filipino beers!
The area also has a park section - often a date venue for couples, frequented by locals and visitors alike.
Part of Jack's Ridge is a resort where they offer cottage rentals, in addition to restaurants and event space.

Jack's Ridge - overlooking one of the world's largest cities May 21, 2008
When you are in Davao, and you are looking for a fine dining with a great view - Jack's Ridge is the one for you.
I have been based in Davao for almost a year now and when friends and colleagues from other places (local or international) came to visit the city, you can be sure that we bring them to Jack's Ridge.
First of all, I love the location of the restaurant - especially dining during evenings when you can see the lights of Davao.
Second, the food is simply great - i love the PANGA most of all, haha. Never miss the PANGA my friends..especially that in Taklobo restaurant.
Third, the ambiance AND the serenades, haha.. Once, our friend from Cambodia was celebrating her birthday and we asked the band to sing a birthday song for her and some old Filipino songs and I will always remember her joy upon hearing the songs. Well, who doesn't want to be serenaded with such beautiful songs?
Fourth (actually they are all equally important), Jack's Ridge has a lotsss to offer and lotss of choices, among which are:
Kai's Bar and Grill
Karlo's Coffee Station
BMW Piano Bar
Kool Kat's Pool (in the resort)
Plus, Jack's Ridge has the unique view of Davao's Memorial lights hehe.. sorry to mention that but that's one of the highlights of the place)
AND, it has historical value - the land on which Jack's Ridge now stand once formed part of the headquarter of the retreating Japanese forces towards the end of the World War II.
Fine dining, great food, warm ambiance, beautiful songs to listen to and historical value - Jack's Ridge is indeed a must-vist place in Davao City.
