Jackie Robinson Ballpark Daytona Beach Reviews
The Daytona Cubs Club May 03, 2010
While on our Florida adventure my brother made strides in his goal to visit all the Major League and Minor League ball parks in the US. This is how we came to be at Jackie Robinson Ballpark.
The park was closed when we first arrived and we couldn’t figure out where to park. Once we did park we decided to walk around the exterior of the park. The website said the souvenir shop was open but we couldn’t find it. We came across an office full of employees and they opened up the souvenir shop for us. They were more than nice, they even let us walk out onto the field, and into the dug outs.
There was no official tour we were on and unfortunately the Cubs were not playing while we were there but the stadium is full of interesting facts and pictures about baseball player Jackie Robinson.
I would have liked to see a ball game, but a free tour was good consolation prize.
