Jack the Rippers London Tavern Hannover Reviews
Great place for a beer Mar 03, 2011
I had been out all evening at the Münchener Halle in the Hannover Messe Centre when they closed. Some local guys that were sitting next to us suggested that we should visit Jack the Rippers London Tavern since they had a great collection of beers.
Our taxi driver didn’t know where it was situated even though it turned out to be right in the heart of Hannover city; at Kröpcke. The tavern was situated well under ground and way down some stairs. Finally down there, there were numerous niches and corners you could sit and have uninterrupted conversations.
The niches had nice leather sofas, and it was pretty cozy with cobblestones, lanterns, old newspaper cut-outs and many little details to remind you of 19th century London. Another place there an 8m long bar, where they served 8 international beer brands on draught such as Newcastle Brown Ale and Fosters Lager tapped from original English hand pulled beer pumps.
At the bar you could also get a large collection of cocktails like the Whitechapel Murder, but I settled with a Foster draught beer and that was my final call for the day.
